WHEN WE WERE GENTLE is the ninth album since 37-year old vocalist and songwriter Kira Skov debuted in 2002 with Kira & The Kindred Spirits. Most recently Kira released PERSONA in collaboration with Peter Peter, and MEMORIES OF DAYS GONE BY with interpretations of songs associated with Billie Holiday.

WHEN WE WERE GENTLE is a collection of ten songs, some written by Kira and some in collaboration with her husband, bassist Nicolai Munch-Hansen; a handful of musical poems about life and love.
